tes•LAX is a CAN bus Explorer and visualization tool that interacts with CAN data from various sources, encompassing gas-powered and electric vehicles.

tes•LAX has the capability to link to select OBD-2 accessories to exhibit live CAN Bus data from your vehicle. Please note that additional wiring and installation are required. Any damage inflicted on your vehicle may not be covered by the vehicle warranty. Proceed at your own risk.

• Capability to replay CAN Bus log files in TXT, ASC, and BLF formats.

• New features in 2.0 including complete page visualizations like a Drag Timer, Matrix View, and Graph.
• Record log files in TXT, ASC, and BLF formats and convert them to comma-separated format (CSV).
• Create and edit presets.
• Modify the signal database to generate and update signals as per alterations made by the vehicle manufacturer to data format.
• Export presets to a file for backup/sharing and re-import them.
• Ability to import DBC files containing signal definition information.
• A "Binary Matrix" view of a message or signal for reverse engineering data streams.
• Utilize JavaScript code to compute a result value from the raw message bytes (or other designated signals within the same message).

The application accesses data streams that aren't documented or supported by the vehicle manufacturer. Any modifications made by the manufacturer to the data flow may lead to inaccuracies within the app's display. Removal of data by the manufacturer can potentially cause certain or all functionalities of the app to cease functioning properly. Numerous signals in the signal database might be from prior versions of the vehicle's operating software (e.g., cell voltages removed in a past software update).
